Where to enter a Hotel Xcaret promo code
The code box only opens once you pick a suite and a rate.
-
1. Search your dates
On hotelxcaret.com, choose the hotel, your dates and guests. Children go in the Rooms and guests window, which asks for each child’s age.
-
2. Pick a suite and rate
Click CHOOSE RATE under a suite, then SELECT on the rate you want. Offers like the Xcaret Sale appear here as their own rates, with the lower price already showing.
-
3. Find the code box
In the YOUR RESERVATION panel on the right, the Promotional code box sits under your room. It reads “Add coupon here:” and has an APPLY button next to it.
-
4. Check the result
APPLY reloads the room list. If the hotel doesn’t accept the code, “Invalid promotional code” appears under the box, so check your suite and total again before you click CONTINUE.
-
5. Use the deal rates
Hotel Xcaret gives most of its discounts as deal rates and packages, not codes. If a code doesn’t go through, choose the lowest deal rate for your suite in the room list instead.
What our booking tests showed
We priced a three-night stay for two adults at Hotel Xcaret México on the official booking site. The Xcaret Sale rate on a Garden suite came to $3,200, against $3,564 on the regular Flexible Rate for the same room and dates, a saving of $364. River and Ocean View suites were about 10% cheaper on the Sale rate too.
The Sale rate also had the later free-cancellation deadline, 30 days before arrival against 21 on the Flexible Rate. The Xcaret park codes we tried in the Promotional code box were all rejected.
What children cost
Adding an 8-year-old to our three-night search at Hotel Xcaret México didn’t change the price of the Sale rate, the Romance package or the Kids & Teens with spa package, and a 15-year-old made no difference to the Flexible Rate either. The only rate that went up was Apapaxoa, the dining package, which added $127.41 for the child.
Enter every child with their age before you choose a rate. The prices you see are based on the guests you searched with, and a package that charges per person, like Apapaxoa, only shows its real cost once the children are in.
Packages compared with the base rate
At Hotel Xcaret Arte, The Art of Wellness cost $268.34 more than the Sale rate on the same Garden Suite Spa for the same three nights. For that you get unlimited Muluk Spa treatments for two, daily use of the hydrotherapy circuit, a stretching class and a private dinner at the spa. Without the package, every spa treatment is charged on top of your stay.
Apapaxoa adds unlimited dining at every restaurant in both hotels, including HA’, which normally costs extra. On Hotel Xcaret México’s spa suites, where no Sale rate was offered, Apapaxoa came to $3,614.82, a little less than the $3,730 Flexible Rate for the same room. It’s for two adults aged 16 and over with a two-night minimum, and wine pairing isn’t included at HA’, Xaak or Le Chique.
What a Hotel Xcaret stay includes
Every room rate at the three hotels includes unlimited entry and transportation to Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xenses, Xoxi and Xenotes, round-trip airport transfers, and Xcaret Xailing ferries to Isla Mujeres and Cozumel. There’s no minimum stay for the parks. Park access starts at check-in, when you receive the digital bracelet that gets you in.
Food and drinks are included, with a few exceptions. HA’ at Hotel Xcaret México and Xaak at Arte are charged separately, and Muluk Spa treatments, park photos and optional park activities cost extra at every hotel. If you plan to use the spa or book HA’ anyway, compare the package rates before you book the room on its own.
Which hotel to book
Hotel Xcaret México is the family hotel, with 1,800 suites and two adults-only sections, Casa Fuego and Casa Eclipse. Hotel Xcaret Arte takes guests 16 and over and adds workshops in pottery, painting, dance and textiles. La Casa de la Playa is an adults-only boutique hotel with 63 suites, each with a private pool, where every restaurant and bar is included.
La Casa de la Playa costs much more. For the same three nights, its lowest price was $7,620, more than double the Sale rate for a Garden suite at Hotel Xcaret México.
Paying and cancelling
Hotel Xcaret takes the full amount when you book. Our booking summary also added an ASISTENCIA IGS assistance charge of $17.84 for two adults, with a Remove link next to it, so check that line if you don’t want it. Guests in the US and Canada can choose Flex Pay at checkout to spread the cost, and the summary showed our $3,307.84 stay from $153 a month.
The cheapest rate isn’t always the best buy if your plans might change. In our tests the free-cancellation deadline ranged from 14 to 30 days before arrival depending on the rate and the hotel, and after it any change costs the whole stay. Each rate shows its deadline as “Cancel free of charge prior to” a date, so compare those before you pay, since a slightly higher rate with a later deadline can be worth it.
Frequently Asked Questions About Hotel Xcaret Coupons
Quick answers on using Hotel Xcaret coupon codes, applying them at checkout, and combining deals safely.
Is it worth waiting for a Hotel Xcaret sale?
Yes, if your dates can move. In our tests the Xcaret Sale rate came in about 10% under the regular Flexible Rate for the same suite and dates, and it had a later free-cancellation deadline. Hotel Xcaret also runs promotions during Buen Fin, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and its Summer Sale, so check the rates again then before you book.
Is booking Hotel Xcaret direct cheaper than a travel site?
Hotel Xcaret will match a lower price you find on another website within 48 hours of booking direct, as long as the hotel, dates, room, conditions and currency are the same and the difference is more than 1%. You claim it by email with a link and a screenshot, and it doesn't apply within 72 hours of arrival.
Can I combine two Hotel Xcaret offers?
No. The terms for both the Xcaret Sale and the kids promotion say they can't be combined with other promotions. When Hotel Xcaret pairs benefits, it sells them as one rate, like the Kids & Teens Stay Free with unlimited spa rate we saw in our search, so look for that rate instead of trying to stack offers.
Do Hotel Xcaret guests get discounts on extras?
Yes, on a few. Hotel guests get 10% off private Xcaret Yachts trips and a discount on ATV Xperience through the Concierge. Guests at Hotel Xcaret Arte and La Casa de la Playa also get a discount on park photos, which aren't included in any room rate.
Do Hotel Xcaret deals cover La Casa de la Playa?
Only some. La Casa de la Playa had no Xcaret Sale rate in our search, and the kids promotion doesn't apply because it's adults-only. Its own offers are an Advanced Purchase rate for booking early and wellness packages with unlimited spa treatments, one of them only for Mexican nationals and residents.
