Pricing rules to know before you book Xoximilco
Book early, keep the child pricing rules in mind, and lock in the lower price once your travel date feels set.
Single admission gets 10% off when you book 7 to 20 days ahead and 15% off when you book at least 21 days ahead. That discount is only for single admission. It does not apply to combinations of 2 or more parks or tours.
Children ages 5 to 11 pay 75% of the adult price, and children ages 0 to 4 enter free. Age 12 and up pays the adult rate. If a child is under 12 but taller than 4.5 ft, official photo ID is required to keep the child price.
If you cancel more than 2 days before the visit, 10% is kept as an administrative fee. That works better when you already feel good about your travel date.
From 2 days before the visit through the visit date, and for no-shows, the booking is non-refundable. Changing the date can also raise the price later, so the lower rate makes more sense once your plans feel settled.
Packages make more sense when you already know you want more than one park
If you are planning to visit more than one park or tour, a package is the first option worth checking. Xoximilco offers package savings of up to 20% off on combinations of two or more parks or tours, while the regular advance-purchase discount applies to single admission.
That does not automatically make the package the better deal. It works best when you already know you will use the extra admissions, because the rules are tighter. Packages with transportation and admission-only Xperience packages are not cancelable or refundable. Packages with transportation give you 15 days from your first visit to use the remaining admissions, one per day. Admission-only packages give you 7 days, also one per day.
You also need to keep the same bracelet on for each visit, and the included admissions or tours cannot be exchanged for different products. This option makes the most sense when your trip is already mapped out and you know those extra parks are part of the plan.
Payment options matter most if you need monthly payments
The one payment feature that changes affordability here is interest-free monthly payments, but it only works in a fairly narrow setup. You can only get it through official Grupo Xcaret websites or by calling Customer Service. It is not available at the park’s ticket booths, and it only applies to credit cards issued in Mexico. Foreign-issued cards, including American Express cards, do not qualify.
It is also worth choosing your checkout currency carefully. Xoximilco offers different payment methods depending on whether you pay in MXN, USD, or EUR, so the backup option you expect to use may not be available in every currency.
If you are paying with American Express, keep one more detail in mind. AMEX charges are processed in Mexican Pesos using American Express’s exchange rate, so the final amount can end up slightly different from the foreign-currency total you saw at checkout.

If you are deciding whether to book now or wait and buy later, Xoximilco’s own site is the place to check first. Its package flow says the lowest rates are guaranteed on official websites, and its promotion rules keep offers tied to official websites and Customer Service Centers.
